EPIC Demographics Update Bot

As part of this daily process, a Full Time Employee (FTE) had to manually log into EPIC and then input Guarantor Self Pay demographics data. The process also requires downloading a daily excel file and then manually keying the account record data including line by line items including address, city, state, and zip codes. The manual process for each guarantor adjustment was time consuming and error prone.
CampTek Software was able to analyze, design, test, build and place this bot into production within 2 weeks. The bot includes full business rules and exception handling. The new automated process also creates a status report. The achieved goal was to take a mundane but mission critical business process out of valuable employee’s hands so that they can focus on additional revenue generation tasks such as focusing on denials and collections.
